I was a member of the Deer Valley Plaza Crime Task Force that developed effective strategies to create a safe environment. I was also on the school budget task force and the Antioch Economic Development Commission. Currently, I serve on the Antioch Mello-Roos board and I am committed to retiring the bonds ASAP without raising taxes.
My top priorities as a County Supervisor are: reduce crime and keep our neighborhoods safe; attract higher paying jobs and quality employers; expediting transportation and traffic improvements; preserving home values; protecting our environment, quality of life and open space.
My wife Robin is a teacher in our public schools. Together, we have three children - Heather 20, Corey 18, and Jason 15. We have lived in Antioch for 13 years and our children attend Los Medanos College, Antioch High School and Deer Valley High School.
I earned my BA degree in Business Administration from Azusa Pacific in 1980.
I am committed to representing the needs of the entire 5th Supervisorial District and believe in open and honest government.
